1. Hove Rentals

All Hove vehicle rentals are governed by a detailed Rental Agreement provided at booking confirmation or at vehicle collection. This agreement outlines the terms, conditions, insurance information, charges, and your responsibilities for the specific rental. If any conflict arises between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement takes precedence.

2. Hove Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Hove, you must:

Be at least 21 years old (age limits may vary by vehicle type, and a young driver surcharge may apply to drivers under 25). Hold a valid, full driving licence appropriate for the vehicle category, with the licence held for the minimum period specified in the Rental Agreement. Provide valid identification and proof of address, together with any additional documents required by the Rental Agreement.

3. Hove Booking and Payment

Bookings can be made through our website, by phone, or in person at our Hove location. A booking deposit may be required to confirm your reservation. 4. Vehicle Pickup and Return

You must inspect the vehicle on collection and report any pre-existing damage to Hove immediately. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed by you and a Hove representative. Return the vehicle in the same condition as at collection, allowing for normal wear and tear. Any new damage identified on return will be assessed and charged to you in line with Hove repair rates.

5. Insurance and Liability for Hove

Hove rentals include basic third-party insurance. Full coverage details and any applicable excess amounts are set out in the Rental Agreement. Additional insurance options may be available to lower your financial liability. Please review these options carefully. You are responsible for damage or loss up to the applicable excess amount.

6. Cancellations and Amendments

Hove's cancellation and amendment policies vary by booking type and notice period. Consult your booking confirmation or rental agreement for specific details. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in charges.

7. Disallowed Uses

You must not use the Hove vehicle for:

Use of a Hove vehicle for any illegal purpose or activity. Racing, rallying, off-roading, or other hazardous activities. Carrying hazardous or prohibited substances. Sub-letting the vehicle to third parties or permitting unauthorized drivers. Driving the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Uses for which the vehicle is not intended by the manufacturer.

Violating Hove's restrictions may result in immediate rental termination and additional charges.

8. Hove Liability Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Hove will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss of profits, data or business, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount paid by you for the applicable services.

9. Governing Law — Hove

These Terms for Hove are governed by English and Welsh law. Any disputes involving Hove will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English and Welsh courts.
